Just came back from the BBC studio in Jerusalem where I was a guest panelist on the World Service Newshour radio program with Julian Marshall.
You can hear the second part here. I can’t find the first part online yet but will post it as soon as I can.
It was my first time on radio, so I was a little nervous, but the people on the other side of the line were real professionals and very encouraging, so like the BBC.
We spoke about everything from Ehud Olmert, Hillary Clinton, Avram Grant, Boxing in Jamaica, and Mars exploration.

I don’t think the BBC has the reputation that it once held.
Seems like a lot of the media is just trash, revisited. While people don’t get much information. Only propaganda.
On the other hand? Olmert is a professional. He is still Prime Minister; and if he keeps standing, then he remains in control. And, the media … which keeps throwing “life rafts” to Ehud Barak, and Livni. Still can’t change the direction the ship of state travels.
As to Morris Talansky, what can I say? I stinking Jewish momzer shows up in Jerusalem. Not far different than Jack Ruby, showing up in Dallas. These men want reputations. And, I suppose, sometimes you just won’t forget their names. No matter how much time passes.
Meanwhile, Israelis have to cope, no less, with crazy Americans, who can come in to do mischief. Then? They go home. Does Olmert question “bozo” on June 11th?
Stay tuned. This is quite a soap opera.
Livni? Like Hillary, one of these women who tend to run into problems only when you want to “count the votes.”
As to the press? What difference does it make if they report crap? “Don’t Buy The Stock!” Anybody that touts a stock is trying to rip you off.
So, you could learn something just by staying clear of the professional pundits.
Other than that? Being on radio can mean you “could” hit an audience, ya know? Rush Limbaugh did. And, does. And, so, too, Drudge. He captivated the airwaves back on Sunday nights, here in the States. But radio … if you think about it as a medium that would want a successful show, stiffed him. And, Sunday nights? Drudge said it was for the birds.
